I was on Ruger,s website and seen that they had info up on the new Lcr 22 magnum.I found 3 of them on Gunbroker and just about hyperventilated when i seen the prices going as high as $555.Same frame setup as the others but a 6 shot.Any body else seen them or heard feedback.

Not a yet Danielson. I still think retail on the LCR 22 is rather high. I'd like to see them compete with the Taurus 22 revolvers, especially the 22lr/22mag convertible that Taurus has out. Ruger's quality seems to be far above that of Taurus and I'll be most of us are happier with a US based manufacturer that can correct problems rather than a US importer that says things like, "you need to learn how to shoot" or "we don't have a legal department" or "we'll get to it" only to have it still sitting in a box after 17 weeks.

I've heard a lot of folks have problems with Taurus customer service, but I recently sent them a PT22 that I couldn't get to run no matter what I did, They had it back in my hand in less than a month and did far more than I asked them to do.

Having owned and shot one now for awhile, I can tall you the PT22 is a POS by design, but its fun if you aren't depending on it to be flawless. I got it for my wife as a practice alternative to her Ruger LCP since they are similar in size, function and the controls are similarly placed. As a side benefit, she is damned good at 'tap rack fire" drills now, thanks to the PT22

You know Carl, we might want to gang-up on Ruger and suggest a 22LR version of the LCP and LC9 platforms. Heck, if they could devise a 22 conversion kit that would be AWESOME and it would sell like mad!
