You read that right, Department of Youth and Family Services in New Jersey attempted to intimdate a NRA instructor's wife to gain access to the home as well as their gun safe, resultant from a Facebook posted picture.

They showed up with ARMED law enforcement in tow, allegedly made threats to take the kids in front of those uniformed officers, and attempted to further intimidate the family to gain access to their home and firearm storage location.

Note something VERY important here. The threat of taking the kids without a warrant and without probable cause is in fact a threat of KIDNAPPING! It falls directly under "color of law".

We've addressed on the forum before just how dangerous family services departments are when it comes to firearms and that they'll do anything and everything, even if they know it's illegal, to try to intimidate law abiding citizens who own or use firearms. Remember what DFS in Missouri has tried to pull by claiming it's a crime for a foster parent to possess firearms and demanding to know who has CCW endorsements and if they know any other foster parents who do.
